"So He Waits"
Inspired by a painting of George Catlins. This sculpture of a Mandan Indian Brave Shows his Heart Break for his people. Like other Plains Indians, the Mandans participated in a yearly ritual called the
"Buffalo Dance"
This year would be different as the mass slaughter of the Buffalo continues to drive both the Buffalo and his people to near extinction.
Praying to the Great Creator and having already danced the sacred dance.....
"So He Waits"
This Sculpture is made from hand pounded steel. It measures nearly 9 ft tall 4 ft wide and weighs aprox. 400 pounds
